Using taxs dollars to commit crime

Our beloved federal government has laws on the books that prohibit harboring illegal aliens. Call them what you will, undocumented workers, fugitives, needy.... if they are not here legally, they are illegal aliens. As I was saying, our federal government has a bevy of laws prohibiting the harboring of illegal aliens. Harboring. What does "harboring" mean?

Well, as I read the warning poster on the wall at a shipper in Laredo, Texas, harboring includes: transporting, feeding, providing housing, transportation and more. The penalties for providing these services all include stiff prison sentences. The real bad boy penalty is for having an illegal alien die while under your care. That carries up to life in prison.

That sets the stage.

Your tax dollars are being used to violate these very laws. That's right. Money is being taken from you against your will and used to commit the crime of harboring illegal aliens. Let me illustrate.

Right now there are illegal aliens being given healthcare on your nickel. It isn't free. You are paying to take care of illegals in violation of the federal law. Right now there are illegal aliens being housed in low income housing all over the United States. It is bad enough that money is being stolen from those who make it to house legal U.S. citizens too lazy to work. But is really a crime for the stolen money to be used for housing illegal aliens, again, in violation of federal law.
Right now there are illegal alien children going to school on your nickel, again, in violation of federal law. Right now there are illegal aliens riding public transportation and in school busses, again, in violation of federal law.

Now, here is my question for you: If one of these illegals dies while being harbored or transported, who gets the life sentence in prison? Should it be you, the taxpayer? After all, it is your money that is being used to violate the law. Should it be the mayor of the town where the crime takes place? Should it be the head of the hospital or school?

How is it that we have been hoodwinked into beleiving that our government can steal our money and then use it to break the very laws that supposedly bind all of us? Since the days of the Magna Carta, it has been that the government has to follow the same laws as the citizens. What happened?

I submit we have been so lazy and univolved so as to have lost the very liberty our country was founded to guarantee. We have had our hands out so long trying to get something for nothing that we have lost our liberty. Remember, your time is all you have. When a large part of it is taken in taxes and in inflation (the most insipid tax of all), your very life is taken from you. And your life is being taken and spent on that which would land you in jail if you were to be caught doing the same.

So, who should be punished, the President, the Congress, the Mayor, the coyote or us? Think about it.

Away too long

I have been neglecting my blogging. I haven't a good reason at all. I am back and will try to be a bit more regular in my blogging.

There are many things in the political and economic realms that have aroused my ire and you can bet I will be on those subjects like a chicken on a june bug.

A list:
1. immigration, legal and otherwise.
2. Welfare
3. Social Security
4. Government Healthcare
5. Codex Ailimentus
7. United Nations
8. The destruction of my Constitution
9. Energy
10. Environmental hoaxes in general and global warming in particular
11. The federal reserve
12. No-win wars
13. Public Education
14. The erosion of the individual
15. The destruction of private property rights

After I beat on those topics, I will find others, I am sure. Sprinkled among my rants, I will pour in some of the things I like to do such as prospecting, smoking cigars, motorcycles, music and who knows what else. If you all have reason to agree, apreciate or disagree, feel free to let me know. I will react as I will. I will not promise to agree or be swayed in my thoughts. However, if you have a good arguement, who knows?

I hope to get bettter at my writing so as to be able to garner more readers. So, if you have any constructive critisism, it is appreciated.

Well, that is it for the rennaisance of Nappy's Place. I am back and will be for a while!
