An oper letter to Nancy Pelosi

Dear Madam Speaker:
I saw your interview where you said children were a drag on the economy and that abortion and birth control were the best way to slow this problem. After thinking a bit, I figure you have a great idea. And to help you with this, I propose you start issuing awards for behavior that will save our economy.

A fellow in Los Angeles, despondent over he and his wife losing their jobs, killed his wife, himself, and his five kids as well! What a guy! He went out of his way to rid our economy of five liabilities and took himself and his wife out as well so there could be no more accidental production of economic liabilities.

Why don't you present him (posthumously of course) the Nancy Pelosi Economic Excellence Award?

Another suggestion: Spring Andrea Yates from the nuthouse down in Texas and appoint her the Family Planning Czar! Surely you remember her, she is the woman who drowned her five kids a while back. What a hero! When not busy promoting birth control and abortion, she would work with Robert Riech in the economics area. A genius like Andrea should really help streamline the operation.

After you get these things done, you may want to look back in history for some deserving folks to recognize for their outstanding work in improving their respective country's economic situations by eliminating drags on the economy. I am thinking of folks like the esteemed Adolph Hitler (credited with eliminating 6 million drags on the economy), Joe Stalin (around 60 million) and last but not least Chairman Mao. He is the man with at least 120 million drags on the economy eliminated!

These folks must be honored! We can get to the more recent and less prolific like yourself and Castro later. These pioneers need to be honored right now!
I am honored to be able to help,

In La La Land For Sure

This from Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Unloaded in LA this morning and are waiting for a load. Feaight is slowing, mirroring the economic environment right now.
The following I got off the internet. I read it on drudgereport.com. This is from the Speaker of our esteemed house of criminals and idiots in Washihngton, D.C.

To wit:

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi boldly defended a move to add birth control funding to the new economic "stimulus" package, claiming "contraception will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government."
Pelosi, the mother of 5 children and 6 grandchildren, who once said, "Nothing in my life will ever, ever compare to being a mom," seemed to imply babies are somehow a burden on the treasury.
The revelation came during an exchange Sunday morning on ABC's THIS WEEK.
STEPHANOPOULOS: Hundreds of millions of dollars to expand family planning services. How is that stimulus?
PELOSI: Well, the family planning services reduce cost. They reduce cost. The states are in terrible fiscal budget crises now and part of what we do for children's health, education and some of those elements are to help the states meet their financial needs. One of those - one of the initiatives you mentioned, the contraception, will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government.
STEPHANOPOULOS: So no apologies for that?
PELOSI: No apologies. No. we have to deal with the consequences of the downturn in our economy.

Unquote.

Can you believe this? If I am reading this correctly, children are a liablility. Lifelong liabilities. I guess that would make us former children liablilities as well.

Now, as I ain't very smart, I got a couple of questions:

First, since we have spent money that has yet to be printed already, without a new generation of suckers, uh, I mean taxpayers to put on the hook, just who is going to pay all this stuff back? It is borrowed, you know.

Second, if all of us are liabilities, and one of the solutions to said liabilities is to prevent the birth of new suckers, uh, I mean taxpayers, how long before we hear about the elimination of existing taxpayers?

I think there is a word for this: Eugenics.

In a sane world, humans are refered to as "human capital". ie, of value.
We are in dangerous and interesting times, folks.

I must reiterate: If government is the answer, it is a very stupid question.
