Musings

This from Orlando, FL. Waiting to unload some WWE Wrestlemania 25 staging. Picked it up in Houston at Reliant Stadium. Had never been in that joint before. I like the AstroDome better.
Had a frost back home the other night, guess the tomato plants will need to be replaced.
Calamity had some back problems, took her to the doctor when we were home. He gave her some meds and it was better for a while. So, we took off on the road and made it to CA and started back. Her back started acting up again. I unloaded in Dallas and took her home. She went back to the doctor and he told her she would need to take it easy. Since there is no easy when bouncing down the road, she is home and I am batching it. There is plenty for her to do at home, hopefully she won't be too bored.
Curious Phoenix67 sent me a message and invited me to join Facebook. What the heck? I did so. A funny thing happened: A man that I had not spoken to since 1971 or 72 called me! I went to a church school with him. Eight grades in one room and a single pedagogue. The boy was my baby brother's running buddy. It was interesting to say the least, talking to him after all these years. Thank you Curious Phoenix!
Congress and the President continue to spend money that does not exist at a breakneck pace. They are trying to run banks and automobile companies. It would be funny if it weren't so serious. A management team that has managed to get our country $65 trillion in debt with no chance of paying is going to "help" private enterprise. I fear we are on a one way street to socialist perdition.
The wages of collectivism are always famine and starvation. I think it will be the same this time. I hate it. The end of the most innovative experiment in human History. The United States, I mean. Free men and women is possession and control of property and assets free to transact as they wished. It built the richest and most healthy culture in the entire history of mankind. All down the tubes as we try the failed socialist collective economy once more. Sad.
I will reiterate: "If government is the answer, it is a stupid question."
Why does anyone believe that a bunch of lying bureaucrats can run their business better than they themselves can? Why ask why.
